Department of Sociology, National University of Singapore

Title: "A Decade of Indonesian 'Reformasi' : The Winners and Losers"
Associate Professor Hadiz is a political sociologist with interests in social,
political and economic change Indonesia and Southeast Asia, as well as in broader
political economy and development questions. In 1996 he recieved his PhD from
Murdoch University, where he was Research Fellow at the Asia research Centre
before joining NUS in 2000.
He is the author of /Reorganising Power in Indonesia: the Politics of Oligarchy
in an Age of Markets /(co-authored with Richard Robison, 2004) and editor of
/Empire and Neoliberalism in Asia /(Routledge 2006).
