Staff within the Flinders Institute of Public Policy and Management can provide customised professional-development workshops on a range of issues pertaining to public policy and public-sector management.
In recent years, FIPPM staff have delivered a variety of workshops through the Institute of Public Administration Australia, the SA Department of the Premier and Cabinet, the SA Department of Families and Communities, the SA Department of Education and Children’s Services, and Arts SA. These workshops have focused on:

- the public policy process
- whole-of-government and cross-agency policy and management
- needs analysis and evaluation
- Commonwealth-State relations
- contemporary issues for the public sector
- inter-agency coordination and collaboration
