How to Put Your Topic on The Web

Web based delivery can be used to support and enhance your on-campus teaching or to deliver a fully integrated learning environment to remote students.

WebCT for on-campus teaching :

Print out the application form for an account for your topic and return the completed form to Sally Burford, room 3115 SSN, ext 13164.

WebCT for distance education:

The Faculty has adopted a two-stage set of procedures for full-topic development. Initial approval must be sought from the Head of the AOU and the Executive Dean (or nominee/committee). Working with the educational designer, a topic working plan is then developed which addresses educational, analysis and design issues. If you require it, the Faculty can also provide technical support to produce the web based topic.

If you wish to develop a topic to be delivered in both modes, you will need to develop it as a full-topic.
