Dr Catherine Kevin is a lecturer in Australian History.
Main research interests:
The histories of Australian reproductive medicine, reproductive politics, Australian
feminism, Italian immigration to Australia
Works in progress:
Catherine is currently working on a monograph entitled Great Expectations: A
political history of pregnancy in Australia (since 1945)
She is also editing a collection of essays called Feminism and the Body, Interdisciplinary
Perspectives
Catherine is co-editing Branding Cities and Cultural Borders: Cosmopolitanism,
Parochialism, and Social Change with Stephanie Hemelryk Donald (UTS) and Eleonore
Kofman (Middlesex)
