Peter Monteath works in the area of modern and contemporary European history.
His research interests are primarily in modern German history. Apart from publications
in such journals as European History Quarterly (1990, 1999), The International
History Review (1994), War and Society (1987), The European Legacy
(1996, 1999), The Journal of Australian Studies (1992), Das Jahrbuch
für Antisemitismusforschung (1998) and German History (2004)
he has written and edited a number of books.
