The National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS) at the Flinders University is Australia's pre-eminent national independent research and consultancy service specialising in labour issues.
The Director is Professor Sue Richardson. She leads a highly qualified team of researchers who have an exceptional record of high quality achievement.
The work of NILS covers a broad spectrum of labour issues, including:
- analysis of labour market developments at national, occupational and regional level
- industrial relations, especially at the workplace level and award restructuring issues
- company-based organisational effectiveness and opinion studies, including absenteeism, safety and turnover control.

Members receive all NILS' publications free of charge.
Annual membership donation is $770.00 (includes $70 GST).
