Training and Skills Commission
Advanced economies share a number of common concerns regarding the changes in the composition of the workforce in the future. This paper provides an overview of several countries that have implemented national policies and strategies as part of a coordinated approach to workforce development. The final section of the paper considers the Australian context with particular reference to workforce development strategies in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
