Project Title: Understanding low skilled men's access to jobs: An occupational case-study approach

Experience

Megan is an experienced researcher in the areas of work and the labour market and has expert research skills in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

Megan studies the relationship between the changing nature of work and it’s impact on those outside of the labour market. She is particularly interested in understanding current employment opportunities for low skilled male workers inactive in the labour market. Other research interests include the impact of work mobile phone on workers and work practices and the paid care workforce.

Megan has consulted with both Federal and State government agencies and is currently undertaking a Ph.D. thesis through an ARC linkage scholarship, in partnership with Anglicare SA entitled: Understanding low skilled men's access to jobs: An occupational case-study approach.
