Summer School Intensive - Qualifying studies for the Graduate Diploma in Psychology

   

The general aim of this topic is to provide students with an introduction to the knowledge base in a small number of fields in psychology. It is also designed to introduce students to skills that will:

  • enable them to be discerning consumers of information relating to psychology;

  • enable them to apply psychological principles to examine everyday problems.
  • The topic is designed as a Web-based flexible delivery course (students are not required to attend on-campus lectures or tutorials), enabling students to choose their own study times and pace in meeting the course objectives and deadlines that are detailed in the Topic Handbook and the Topic Assessment Guide. The course will comprise of two parts, part one commences in Nov 2008 and part two in Jan 2009. Further information about the course content and enrolment will be made available in late August 2008.
