A wide range of resources are available to both staff and students
to assist with teaching and research. This page details the general
resources available to all members of the department (staff and
student). Additional online resources are available to
staff, postgraduates and honours. Please note, you will be required to enter your username and password to access these pages.
Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic
The Child and Adolescent Sleep Clinic offers assessments and treatments of
children's sleep and adolescent's sleep problems. Further

Computing Resources
The School of Psychology has at its disposal a rich collection of
computer facilities provided internally, by the Faculty of Social
Sciences, and by the University as a whole.
These facilities include:
- undergraduate computer pool - Located in Room 221, this room is used for
general computer access by undergraduate students.
- postgraduate computer room - Room 332, this has a number of machines reserved
for use by PhD and Marsters students.
- Testing Cubicles - Room 111, This area contains twenty cubicles used for
computerised testing in research projects.
- Audio Visual suite - Recently purchased, this facility allows the creation
and non-linear editing of video footage. It is currently being used in the
production of videos for several research projects.
- Research Computers - Some research projects have also purchased a range
of Unix and PC machines for the analysis of data. Staff and postgraduate
students also have access to the university's Unix systems for research
purposes.

Psychology Technical Support Group
The School has three full time technical staff members who are led by the Development
Engineer, Paul Douglas. The other two members
of the team are an ICT Officer (Application Systems Development and Support),
(vacant) and a Technical Support Officer (Electronics) (vacant). They provide
specialist support/advice in the areas of Computing, Programming, and Electronic
Engineering. Design and construction of equipment is undertaken in the Schools'
Electronic Section. Technical personnel
are also responsible for ensuring that the School's various laboratories comply
with the Universities' Occupational and Health Safety requirements.
Secondary Psychology Resources
The School runs workshops
and seminars for secondary students studying psychology and for teachers
teaching secondary psychology.
Test Library
The School of Psychology at Flinders University maintains a Test Library
which is available to staff, postgraduate and honours students in the School.
The Test Library contains several hundred tests with multiple copies of the
most popular tests. Tests are updated regularly and new tests ordered on recommendation
and requirement. Tests may be borrowed between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each
weekday by contacting Sue Dolman.
