Secondary Psychology Resources

The School of Psychology actively supports the teaching of psychology in high schools in South Australia and the Northern Territory in three ways.

We contribute to workshops and seminars for secondary students studying psychology and provide free on-line learning tools for students.

We contribute to professional development workshops and seminars for teachers of secondary psychology and provide free on-line teaching materials for teachers who are unable to attend these.

We offer a continuing education program for those people who already hold a teaching qualification but who would like additional preparation for teaching psychology as a senior subject in secondary schools. Preparation for Teaching Secondary Psychology is offered to external students within Australia and overseas.

Although these three resources have been tailored to the psychology curriculum for the South Australian Certificate of Education, they are applicable to most senior secondary psychology curricula in Australia and overseas.
