Research Interests

My research interests are divided between developmental psychology and the application of psychology to palliative care. In developmental psychology my interests focus on the development of expertise by young children, the development of ethnic tolerance and prejudice, and the well-being of child refugees. In palliative care my interests focus on the assessment of cognitive impairment and depression in patients with advanced cancer, and the factors involved in doctors' prognostication.
