Mr Aaron Drummond

Project

Three-dimensional map learning.

An extension of the 'switching imagined viewpoints' theory as detailed by Franklin and Tversky (1990), the project aims to examine the manner in which three-dimensional spatial information is acquired, the mental representations of such information, and the viewpoints adopted when making judgements about that information, specifically in regard to the rarely examined vertical axis of spatial learning.

Additional Research Interests

I have a strong interest in the broader area of spatial learning, specifically in inconsistencies such as alignment effects which are presernt in spatial memory.
