Visit of Dr Mirja Satka to Flinders University

Dr Mirja Satka visited Flinders University to discuss her
research on the Finnish Poor Law, gender issues and the civil
war with Peter Travers, Elaine Martin and Tony Griffiths and
a group of graduate and undergraduate students. Dr Satka,
from the University of Jyvaskala is supported by the Academy
of Finland and is the author of a standard text on her subject.
