Visit to Tokyo University by Tony Griffiths

On 1 February 2001 Tony Griffiths gave a lecture and seminar at Tokyo University on the subject of Japan, Scandinavia: historical links and global issues.  The meeting was hosted by Professor Kazuto Matsumura, of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology.  Discussions were held with Hiromi Komori, Tomohide Kasiwakura, Margit Juurikas, Toshoiaki Tamaki, Shoju Chiba, Kentarou Kobari, Mutsuo Sato and the results of the deliberations will be published shortly by Professor Murai Makoto, of Waseda University in the Journal of the Association for Balto-Scandinavian Studies, Balto Scandia.
